Alfredo Torres Biography
Alfredo Torres is a Costa Rican documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on themes of migration, LGBTQIA+ rights, and environmental issues. His debut short documentary, Jardines, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. Torres holds a master's degree in Journalism from UC Berkeley, where he was awarded the Marlon T. Riggs Fellowship Award. His work has been featured by organizations such as the United Nations, Mongabay, and PBS.
