Melissa DaPonte Biography
Melissa DaPonte began her acting career at age 4, playing a lost child on "Rescue 911". At 5, she was cast in the Lifetime Original movie, Chasing the Dragon, and began her stage career with The Atlanta Opera, playing Trouble in Madama Butterfly. In the years since, Melissa has performed with The Atlanta Opera four times, with the Georgia Shakespeare Festival (twice), the Atlanta Shakespeare Company, Atlanta Classical Theatre (twice), Actor's Express, Art Within and several other Atlanta theatres.
She has also stayed busy with film, TV and video and, most recently with band (she plays flute).
