Окончила актерскую студию при Ленинградском ТЮЗе (1960, мастерская Л. Макарьева). В 1957-1970 — актриса Ленинградского ТЮЗа, в 1970-1976 — Театра Комедии им. Н. П. Акимова, с 1976 — актриса Ленинградского БДТ им.
М. Горького. Народная артистка РФ (1993). Девичья фамилия — Политова.
