Polina Shevkunenko Biography
Sergei Shevkunenko's mother. In the second half of the 70s, he had problems with the law - he was convicted several times for hooliganism and theft. Polina Vasilievna tried to help her son get out of the vicious circle by getting him a job at Mosfilm as a lighting technician. But the efforts were in vain - by the early 90s, after several “prisons”, Sergei became a recognized criminal “authority”.
On February 11, 1995, Polina Shevkunenko was killed along with Sergei in her Moscow apartment.
