Marianne has mysteriously disappeared from her home in a village called LOrée du Bois Her husband a photographer and her daughter Clara wait for her to come back Unwilling to abandon hope of seeing her again they go for walks and recall their shared memories of her The cloudy sky casts shadows over the landscape A few kilometres away in a small town Simon a young man in his twenties starts having trouble with his sight feeling his eyes momentarily covered by a black cloud plunging him into total darkness
