Twelveyearold Ally and her family have just moved to a new neighborhood Allys parents have promised her a trip to Disney Land as long as she does well at school But as Ally struggles to make new friends and finds herself out of depth in class it looks like shell be spending her time at Summer School rather than with Mickey and friends Ally turns for help to her only companion Obie her loyal and talkative dog But when Obie goes missing Ally finds shes in a race against time to find Obie and to do well in class as the end of the school year approaches
