11 Things You (Probably) Don't Know About Ryan Guzman
Ryan Anthony Guzman was born September 21, 1987 to Lisa and Ray Guzman.
His father is Mexican, while his mother was born in California and is of European descent.
Guzman was born in Abilene, Texas, but moved to Sacramento, California at a young age.
While attending college near home in 2006, Guzman started modeling in San Francisco.
Before long, Guzman began taking acting classes and moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue his dream.
Around the same time, the future actor began training and fighting in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
It didn't take long for Guzman to catch his big break. In 2012, he starred in "Step Up Revolution." He later reprised his role in "Step Up All In" (2014).
Guzman has also appeared in the hit ABC Family series "Pretty Little Liars."
When Guzman's reps called to say Jennifer Lopez was interested in him starring in "The Boy Next Door," he thought it was a prank and hung up! Quite a few times, actually.
Guzman also admitted he was nervous about his hot scene with Lopez, but she stressed the importance of the steamy moment.
Later this year, the actor stars in the "Jem and the Holograms" movie opposite Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald.
