Dracula shows his softer side when he opens the doors of his hotel to humans in "Hotel Transylvania 2." But, unlike his spooky predecessors, this family-friendly parody of the 19th-century bloodsucker will invite guests to visit his not-so-humble abode as friends not food.

The original "Hotel Transylvania" movie earned $148 million, so it's hardly a stretch to predict that the animated sequel will see similar box office success after dominating the box office weekend. But Adam Sandler's goofy take on Dracula isn't the first time Hollywood has spoofed this legendary horror story.

Here are five of the silliest vampire spoofs of all time.

1. Bunnicula, The Vampire Rabbit Bunnicula is the tale of a seemingly cute and cuddly bunny who only ventures outside at night and has a penchant for draining (gasp!) vegetables of their juices.

3. My Best Friend Is a Vampire. This 1980s comedy tells the story of a high school boy who loses his virginity to a sexy customer while delivering groceries for his after school job. Unfortunately, the older woman is also a vampire who decides to turn him after they finally do the deed.

5. Vampires Suck. Not a big fan of the "Twilight" franchise? Then you'll love this no-holds-barred spoof of the teen vampire flicks featuring "Becca" instead of "Bella" and "Edward Sullen" instead of "Edward Cullen."
