6 '80s Action Movies The Rock Should Remake Next
Dwayne Johnson is set to "see things no one else can see, do things no one else can do" when he dons Jack Burton's signature mullet for the "Big Trouble in Little China" reboot. In honor of that, here are custom movie posters for six '80s action classics that The Rock should remake next.
'Tango & Cash' (1989)
Tango and Cash. Cash and Tango. The Rock and Vin Diesel. This time, the latter takes over for Kurt Russell -- while the former inherits the Stallone role -- in this action film that should bear the credit "Directed by Cocaine."
'The Beastmaster' (1982)
Courage of an eagle? Check. Strength of a black tiger (um, don't you mean a panther?) Double-check. The Rock with a sword and loin cloth? Check and mate!
'Cobra' (1986)
Only two grenades?! The remake will fix that. But don't worry, fans, it will still keep all the scenes inside the factory that only makes sparks.
'Flash Gordon' (1980)
"DWAYNE! -- ah ahhhhhh -- he'll save every one of us!" *sung in perfect Freddie Mercury voice.
'Masters of the Universe' (1987)
There is life before, and life after, this poster. By the Power of Greyskull -- make this happen, Hollywood.
'Road House' (1989)
Why this hasn't happened yet is borderline offensive. If anyone is worthy of stepping into Dalton's throat-ripping, bar-bouncer boots, it's The Rock. Seriously, you guys, this can't get into our eyeballs fast enough.
