AFI's Top Movies and TV Shows of 2017 Include 'Wonder Woman,' 'Big Little Lies'
"Wonder Woman" just lassoed a place on the American Film Institute's list of the top 10 movies of the year.
The list includes Oscar frontrunners "Call Me By Your Name" and "Lady Bird," as well as the horror hit "Get Out." Superhero movies rarely get a lot of awards buzz, but "Wonder Woman" received tremendously positive reviews (as well as a ton of money at the box office).
The TV side has no surprises, with the Emmy-winning shows "Handmaid's Tale" and "Big Little Lies" landing on the list. "The Crown" Season 2, which debuts on Netflix tomorrow, squeaked in at the last minute.
