Anthony Mackie, whose episode of "Black Mirror" just debuted, will be back on Netflix with the sci-fi action movie "Outside the Wire."

The "Captain America" actor will will play a drone pilot sent into a deadly militarized zone. There, he must work for an android officer to locate a doomsday device before it falls into the hands of insurgents.

Shooting is due to begin in August once the rest of the cast is nailed down.

Mikael Håfström ("Escape Plan," "1408") is directing from a script by video game writers Rob Yescombe and Rowan Athale ("Way Down").

Mackie is also in pre-production on the Disney+ miniseries "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier," which reteams him with "Captain America: Winter Soldier" costar Sebastian Stan.
