Backlash Prompts Marvel to Update 'Avengers: Endgame' Poster With Danai Gurira
MCU fans aren't afraid to make their voices heard, nor is Marvel too proud to listen to them.
When Marvel Studios released the latest poster for "Avengers: Endgame," fans quickly noted that every actor pictured got top billing -- with the notable exception of Danai Gurira (Okoye). People began tweeting about it, asking Marvel why that happened and expressing their disappointment. And it didn't take long for them to get their answer. The studio has since released a new version of the poster that features Gurira's name alongside those of her co-stars.
"She should have been up there all this time," Marvel tweeted.
Here's the new poster:

As you can see, there are now 13 names atop the poster to match the 13 actors whose characters are pictured. Social media justice has prevailed.
"Avengers: Endgame" is Gurira's third MCU flick. She made her debut in "Black Panther," and then again portrayed Okoye in "Avengers: Infinity War."
"Endgame" is due out April 26.
