'Bachelor in Paradise' to Bring Back Corinne Olympios for Reunion Special
There was no way "Bachelor in Paradise" was going to gloss over the recent scandal involving Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.
The reunion special will reunite both of the former Season 4 cast members, Variety reports. Olympios announced her participation on Wednesday, not long after Jackson's revelation to TMZ earlier in the week that he would be there. The two will likely talk about the hookup that led to the "Paradise" crisis, a topic that dominated Bachelor Nation conversation when the show's filming was put on hold in early June.
The controversy came to light after two producers filed complaints of misconduct following a sexual encounter involving Olympios and Jackson. While production was suspended, Warner Bros. launched an internal investigation into the matter. Ultimately, the production company did not find evidence of wrongdoing, and "Bachelor in Paradise" resumed filming.
Although neither Olympios nor Jackson returned for the remainder of the season, both are evidently ready to discuss what happened on the reunion special.
"I am very happy to be appearing on the 'Bachelor in Paradise' Special," Olympios said in a statement.
It'll definitely be interesting to see what the two have to say when they're face to face again. "Bachelor in Paradise" is set for a two-night premiere on Aug. 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
