The 10 Best Feel-Good Movies of 2018
Feelgood Movies
Need some cheering up? Movies including "Paddington 2" and "Crazy Rich Asians" will put the biggest smile on your face.
'Paddington 2' (2018)
In this delightful sequel, Paddington Bear is kind and polite, even in jail. And Hugh Grant turns in a career-best performance as the vain, washed-up actor of a villain. Good for pretty much everything that ails you. Don't miss the end credits!
'Won't You Be My Neighbor' (2018)
The gentle Mr. Rogers is sorely missed in today's world. Thank goodness for this film that reminds us what good, kind soul he was and how much he changed the world. Bring tissues.
'Mary Poppins Returns' (2018)
It's a tall order, but Emily Blunt ably fills Julie Andrews's shoes as the new Mary Poppins. The film is a wonderful blend of nostalgia and new adventures. Practically perfect in every away.
'Pick of the Litter' (2018)
In this heart-swelling documentary from the makers of "Batkid Begins," we follow a litter of dogs born into the Guide Dogs for the Blind program. Which will end up making it as working guide dogs? There are some ups and downs, but they're all very good dogs, Brent.
'Crazy Rich Asians' (2018)
We didn't realize how much we needed this wonderfully funny, sweet and moving romcom. Bring on the sequel!
'Love, Simon' (2018)
There's a lot of heartache in Simon (Nick Robinson)'s life as he wrestles with coming out, but ultimately it's the happiest ending ever. With the best mom and the best friends. Group hug.
'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' (2018)
So much love for Lana Condor and "To All the Boys I've Loved Before," a great romcom that made our faces hurt from grinning so much. And the news that a sequel is (probably) happening.
'Christopher Robin' (2018)
Grown-up Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) leads a glum life without his childhood friends, so they crash his boring life and remind him what matters. If only we could all balance work and fun so perfectly. Pooh, Piglet and even Eeyore are every inch their sweet, cuddly (if still neurotic) selves.
'RBG' (2018)
On a more serious note (and with a less prone-to-smiling subject), Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's groundbreaking judicial career inspires the hell out of us.
'Set It Up' (2018)
Two overworked wage slaves scheme to find love matches for their single, demanding bosses in this winning comedy. Cher Horowitz would be proud. And say, is Zoey Deutch our new romcom queen?
