"Better Call Saul" is coming back to TV screens soon, with AMC announcing that the sophomore season of the critically-acclaimed "Breaking Bad" prequel is set to debut early next year.

According to the network, "Saul" will start up again on February 15, 2016, resuming its regular Monday timeslot at 10 p.m. That debut date will pit the show against the Grammys, which are moving to Monday to avoid conflicting with the Valentine's Day holiday. But "Saul" shouldn't be too worried: Its series premiere back in February of this year also went head-to-head with the Grammys, and the drama wound up breaking cable ratings records in the key 18-49 demographic.

"Saul" went on to become the highest-rated new cable series of the season in that bracket, as well as in total viewers. It only lagged behind fellow AMC show "The Walking Dead," whose ratings dominance has been well-documented.

Season two of the show has some big shoes to fill (the first batch of episodes also walked away with seven Emmy nominations), but based on "Saul"'s track record so far, it seems that continued success is a given.
