Bristol Palin & Husband to Divorce After 1.5 Years of Marriage
Former Marine and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer has filed for divorce from reality TV regular Bristol Palin. They have been married for less than two years.
Meyer moved out of their Austin, Texas home around Christmas, People reports. TMZ added that Meyer filed for divorce on January 29 in Texas, and he filed with only the couples' initials.
The two have apparently stopped following each other on social media -- (People added that "Meyer has also blocked Palin on social media") -- and their most recent photos are sans wedding rings.
Palin -- daughter of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin -- married Meyer in June 2016. They have two daughters together, ages 2 and 9 months. Palin, 27, also has a son Tripp, age 9, from her relationship with ex-fiancee Levi Johnston.
Meyer, 29, still has this family photo active on Instagram from January 2018:
Bristol Palin's Instagram bio is still "Bristol Meyer." She also has several family photos active from before Christmas, including this photo from December 25:
Even though People says Meyer filed for divorce, it's not out of the question that the pair may reunite. They've done this before. They called off their wedding just days before the event in May 2015, then reunited and got married in 2016.
In addition to being a mom of three, Palin is a public speaker and memoir author. She also starred on Lifetime's "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp," and competed on two seasons of "Dancing With the Stars"; She reached the finals of DWTS Season 11, and returned for the all-stars Season 15.
