'Charlie's Angels' Adds 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' Breakout Noah Centineo
The Angels are getting a dreamy new castmate: Actor Noah Centineo has joined the ensemble of the upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot.
Variety reports that Centineo will be playing the love interest of one of the titular trio of women. That's a fitting role for the actor, who starred as the crush-worthy object of affection in this summer's delightful Netflix rom-com "To All the Boys I've Loved Before."
Centineo's "To All the Boys" costar Lana Condor already lined up her next high-profile role, so it's nice to see that her fellow breakout is getting more work, too. Fans of the flick are probably bummed the pair aren't appearing in a sequel, but it sounds like everyone involved wants to make it happen some day.
In the meantime, Centineo will be in some good company on this latest project. The flick stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the Angels, and recently added fellow heartthrob Sam Claflin (the "Hunger Games" series) to the cast.
Elizabeth Banks is directing the reboot, and will also co-star as one of three Bosleys. The other two will be played by Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou.
We'll keep you updated if anyone else joins this already-sprawling -- and incredibly starry -- cast. "Charlie's Angels" is due to debut in theaters on September 27, 2019.
