Colton Haynes Will Return to 'Arrow' as Series Regular in Season 7
He'll be back -- again!
"Arrow" series regular in Season 7.
Haynes debuted Roy Harper/Arsenal as a recurring character in "Arrow" Season 1. That became a main role in Season 2-3, and then a guest role in Season 4 and Season 6.
Haynes just returned to the show in Season 6 episodes 15 and 16, as Roy agreed to accompany Thea (Willa Holland) around the world to destroy the remaining Lazarus Pits. That marked the final episode for Willa Holland's Thea, but somehow Colton Haynes' Roy is going to return as a series regular next season.
Without her? Apparently?
The "Arrow" executive producers shared a statement on the news (via TVLine):
"We're very fortunate and excited to welcome back Colton to Arrow. While we've always enjoyed Colton's returns to the show, we couldn't be more thrilled to have him return as a proper series regular — and we're very excited about all the creative opportunities Roy Harper's return affords us."
Colton Haynes added his own simple statement:
"I could not be happier to return to my role as Roy Harper alongside my Arrow family."
In addition to "Arrow," Haynes has been busy with "Teen Wolf," "American Horror Story: Cult," "Scream Queens," "The Grinder," "San Andreas," and "Rough Night."
"Arrow" Season 6 is airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
