"Criminal Minds" star has reportedly been suspended from the CBS show for one or two episodes after allegedly kicking a writer/producer during an on-set argument.

According to TMZ, Gibson was acting (as Hotch) and directing in a Season 12 scene a few weeks ago when he got into a creative spat with the episode writer. That escalated into an alleged leg kick from Gibson. (Deadline was told the kicked writer/producer was co-executive producer Virgil Williams.)

The writer/producer called his agent, TMZ said, and the agent called the CBS bosses. TMZ said CBS took action and suspended Gibson for two weeks. TMZ said Thomas claimed the writer became "aggressive" so he kicked him "in retaliation."

Gibson further told TMZ, "There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will."

Deadline said they heard that Gibson's Season 12 directing stint was nixed after the incident. He has directed six episodes of the series so far. They added that, years ago, Gibson allegedly pushed another producer and had to attend anger management classes, but obviously still stayed on the show. TVLine also noted that, back in 2013, CBS dealt with something like this when "CSI" star George Eads got into an on-set fight with a writer. Eads was written off the show for several episodes.

So much boy drama! This follows The Rock's rant about his co-stars, reportedly directed at Vin Diesel. Perhaps they can all be assigned to the same yoga class to cool down.
