"Dance Moms," was sentenced to one year and one day in prison by a federal judge in Pittsburgh.
After she serves the time, she will also have two years of supervised release. Miller will also have to pay a fine of $40,000 and a $120,000 judgment
Miller was indicted on 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud following an investigation by the IRS and FBI. She had initially filed for bankruptcy in 2010, but in the filing, did not include her contract with "Dance Moms." Prosecutors accused her of hiding the money from her creditors.
Last year, she pled guilty to concealing bankruptcy assets and one count of not reporting an international monetary transaction. Last month, she quit "Dance Moms" after reportedly clashing with producers. She announced the decision in a sharply-worded Instagram post:
