'Dancing With the Stars' Duo Address That 'Unintentional' Crotch Grab
Charo wasn't the only one getting cuchi-cuchi on last night's "Dancing With the Stars" Season 24 premiere. Among the many talking points of the night was a very brief behind-the-scenes moment that ended up going viral. The two subjects of that moment -- new heartthrob Bonner Bolton and popular pro Sharna Burgess -- later addressed what Sharna dubbed #Handgate.
First, here's what happened:
Anyone else catch Bonner trying to Donald Trump Sharna?? ???? #dwts@DancingABCpic.twitter.com/bQG10sapuv

You could tell that Bonner did not know where his hand was going, and Sharna did, but her attempts to downplay it did not succeed. The Internet was all over it, and Bonner was asked about it in an interview with Entertainment Tonight:
"I was just stargazed by Nick [Viall] and Peta's [Murgatroyd] performance and I was looking at the TV screen. I felt her bump into me yet I wasn't really looking at what was bumping into me. There was some hand placement that went south, so to speak," he said, but the crotch grab was "totally unintentional."
Sharna Burgess took to Twitter to address the moment head-on:
Loverz its #clapbackseason Lets talk about the awkward hand... actually since I've had #nipplegate already, lets just call it #handgatepic.twitter.com/yhdAQwlkfx

Anyone who has the ridiculous idea that it was intentional...is straight up stupid. As in lacking th intelligence to realize it was innocent

@bonner_bolton 's a true southern gentleman & was so embarrassed that it even happened let alone got caught on camera for gossips to gawk at

Welp, it did. Welcome to reality TV, where cameras are everywhere.
Bonner and Sharna definitely showed chemistry during the premiere, and we wouldn't be surprised if a "showmance" was played up all season, but it definitely did look like an innocent moment, and not Bonner being caught in the act of being extra friendly with his partner.
In Week 2, Bonner and Sharna have the Viennese Waltz, so we should be seeing a more sophisticated and romantic side of their chemistry. DWTS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
