'Doctor Who' Announcing 13th Doctor Sunday After Wimbledon
"Doctor Who"? Fans will find out the answer to that question on Sunday.
BBC revealed on Twitter that it will announce the identity of the 13th Doctor after the Wimbledon men's final. Peter Capaldi is stepping down from the role after three seasons; his last episode is this year's Christmas special.

Capaldi is the fourth actor to play the Time Lord since the 2005 reboot of the beloved British sci-fi adventure series (following Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith).
Next season will not only see a new face in front of the camera, but behind it. Steven Moffat is stepping down as showrunner, and "Broadchurch" creator Chris Chibnall will take his place.
Ever since Capaldi announced he would be departing "Doctor Who," speculation has run rampant about who might be the 13th Doctor. Many want a woman to finally win the role, and actresses like Olivia Colman (who worked wth Chibnall and Tennant on "Broadchurch") and "Fleabag" star/creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge floated as contenders.
