It's a jungle out there, but for Dwayne Johnson it's more like a "Jungle Cruise."

The action star has been enlisted to lead Disney's forthcoming movie inspired by one of its popular theme park attractions, Deadline reports.

The Jungle Cruise is an original ride from Disneyland's opening in Anaheim, Calif. in 1955. Located in the theme park's Adventureland section, the attraction is inspired by the 1951 adventure film "The African Queen," which starred Humphrey Bogart (who claimed a Best Actor Oscar for the role) and Katharine Hepburn.

Although plot details are not yet known, the attraction simulates a 1940s British-colonial steamer excursion down major rivers of Africa, Asia and South America, where dramatic scenery and clashes with exotic animals and locals are abound.
