Happy New Year — and happy new marriage for Ellen Page and Emma Portner!

The "Flatliners" star revealed the surprise wedding news on Instagram with a photo of the two women's left hands bearing wedding rings. "Can't believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife," Page wrote. Portner also posted the same pic.

Portner, 23, is a dancer and choreographer who teaches at New York's Broadway Dance Center. Details of their relationship are unknown, but pics of the couple began to emerge last summer. They were spotted kissing in Los Angeles on the day Page's docuseries "Gaycation" earned an Emmy nomination, and were photographed together on the "Flatliners" red carpet.

Page came out in 2014 at a Human Rights Campaign event, where she gave a speech that received a standing ovation.

In September, the actress told Diva magazine of her coming out, "From one day to the next [after coming out], I felt a happiness and an inner peace which I hadn't known for years."
