'Fast 8' 'Family' Posts Group Photo & Letter to Fans After Ugly Final Week
Whew! The "Fast & Furious" Family has had a week that lived up to the franchise title. Now that production on "Fast 8" is coming to a close, the official Facebook page released a group photo and a thank you letter, basically trying to bring the "family" together again after a fractured week of public outbursts and rumored cast feuds, and promising some first look footage on the new film in December.
Here's the post:It's not clear how old or new that happy cast photo is, but of course we're taking note that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel are not standing next to each other. This past week was filled with their rumored feud, which started with The Rock blasting his male "Fast 8" co-stars as "candy asses." That was followed by the allegation that he specifically meant Vin Diesel. Diesel promised to tell fans "everything." Then there was the report that the "Fast 8" crew loves The Rock and hates Vin Diesel. The Real Housewives don't have this much drama. The movie, directed by F. Gary Gray, is scheduled for release April 14th, 2017, and it sounds like we'll have to wait about four months for the first look at the on-screen action.
