First 'Raven's Home' Trailer Shows Who Inherited Mom's Psychic Powers
The Disney Channel posted its first official trailer for the "That's So Raven" spinoff/sequel, "Raven's Home," with a big focus on the next generation.
The trailer is narrated by Raven Baxter's son, Booker (Isaac Brown), who inherited his mother's psychic visions. He introduces the main characters of the cast, including OGs Raven (Raven Symoné) and her best friend Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol), plus Booker's twin sister Nia (Navia Robinson), Chelsea's son Levi (Jason Maybaum), and Nia's friend, Tess (Sky Katz).
Here's the trailer:"That's So Raven" aired on the Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, so it has been a full 10 years since we've seen Raven and her visions. Based on this, it looks like the story might follow the kids more than the adults, which may not be what "That's So Raven" fans were hoping for with this reunion sequel. But that's the Disney Channel way -- aim for the next generation of viewers, while hoping to hook adults with the nostalgia factor. (That worked for three seasons for "Girl Meets World.")
It looks like "Raven's Home" is set to premiere Friday, July 21st on Disney Channel, after the premiere of "Descendants 2."
