At long last, the second half of "Young & Hungry" Season 5 has a premiere date -- but there's good news and bad news that goes with it.

Let's rip off the Band-Aid and start with the bad: The sitcom starring Emily Osment has officially been canceled, as Deadline reports. This means that there are only 10 episodes left. Fortunately, Freeform has softened the blow by revealing that a TV movie is in the works. Like the series, it will bring us the misadventures of chef Gabi (Osment), her billionaire boss and love interest, Josh (Jonathan Sadowski), and their friends.

Even with the movie news, the show's cancellation is a development that fans are not exactly happy about, based on their response on Twitter.

Still, fans are at least happy to finally be getting the second half of Season 5. The first 10 episodes began airing on March 13, 2017, and Freeform has taken its sweet time bringing us the final 10. Season 5B is set to debut June 20, which is more than a year after the season premiere. Still, better late than never -- and better a followup TV movie than a straight cancellation. That's a saying, too, right?
