'Game of Thrones' Alum Cast as 'Justice League' Villain
The King-Beyond-the-Wall will soon face-off against Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the rest of DC's "Justice League."
Irish actor "Game of Thrones," in just one of his 100 credits -- will play villain Steppenwolf in "Justice League." TheWrap got the scoop, adding that Hinds recently wrapped his role, which was filmed through motion capture (ala Josh Brolin's Thanos for Marvel.)TheWrap also quoted sources who said the villain's look will be upgraded from his first appearance, in a deleted scene from "Batman v Superman":It was revealed a few months ago that Steppenwolf would be the main villain and, at the time, producers said they were close to casting an actor for the shadowy horned antagonist. At the same time, Ben Affleck (Batman) talked to Mashable about his own character's struggle to form the Justice League:
"It's about trying to get a lot of disparate people who are used to being very powerful and very independent to try to work together, and it's about how hard that is. There are some characters that really hit it off with each other, some that really don't hit if off with each other and almost come to blows, and it's about trying to contain that."
"Wonder Woman" is the next time in the DC Extended Universe, and then "Justice League" arrives November 17, 2017.
