'Game of Thrones' Reimagined as 'Real Housewives of King's Landing'
Backstabbing. Snarky gossip. Thinly veiled insults. And a lot of wine. Are we talking about "Real Housewives" or "Game of Thrones"?
It could be both, as this clever mash-up proves. Here's "The Real Housewives of King's Landing" featuring Margaery "I'm the new Queen, bitch" Tyrell and Cersei "IDGAF, I'm in charge" Lannister.
"That's her game," Cersei grumbles about Marg, " to elicit some pretense of friendship."
And of course, the younger Margaery likes to throw Cersei's age in her face at every opportunity. "The Queen Mother will be a Queen Grandmother soon," she says with a wicked smile. We're just waiting for one of them to throw wine in the other's face and call for trial by combat.
This is just the latest in a long line of "Game of Thrones" mashups - there was the "Saved By the Bell" recap, the "Brady Bunch opener, and even "Wolf of Wall Street."
"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
