We still don't know exactly when season eight of "Game of Thrones" will premiere (sometime in 2019, according to HBO), but we do know it's going to be epic. And in true "Thrones" fashion, it's going to be insanely deadly, too.

That's the word from Sophie Turner, who spoke to Gold Derby about the upcoming final season of the hit HBO fantasy series. Though Turner didn't provide any details, she did tease that fans should brace themselves for plenty of chaos.

"I can tell you that there's definitely a coming together of people," Turner told Gold Derby. "Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom. There's a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right. It's 'Game of Thrones,' so it's going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before."

That sounds about right for the series, whose stars (both past and present) have been hyping up the final season for months now. Turner herself previously revealed that the entire cast was "applauding and crying" at the final table read.

But it wouldn't be "Game of Thrones" without some secrecy, and several actors have already given conflicting statements about whether or not everyone even knows how the series is actually going to end. So maybe Turner's comments are a clever bit of misdirection, and everyone in Westeros just decides to settle their differences over a glass of wine.

We're going to safely assume that that's not the case, though. We'll be mentally preparing ourselves for mayhem when season eight of "Game of Thrones" rolls out sometime next year.
