The gibberish-speaking crew of little yellow creatures has finally hit the big time. "Minions" sees its adorable animated stars Stuart, Bob and Kevin promoted from supporting characters in "Despicable Me" to leading men monsters of their first full-length feature when the comedy hits theaters on July 10.

And the frenzy surrounding the golden trio's big screen debut is positively mind-boggling to most grownups. Children (READ: marketing teams) refer to it as: Genius.

Fans can purchase everything from yellow Tic Tacs to cell phone cases emblazoned in the Minions' likeness, and even a McDonald's Happy Meal toy that spews profanity (allegedly).

1. The "Did I Hear That Right?" McDonald's Happy Meal toy: Would you like a side of profanity served up with your fries? According to some outraged adults, the "Minions" movie Happy Meal toys that have been rolled out across McDonald's restaurants nationwide are teaching their children profanity, specifically: "What the f--k?" A spokesperson for McDonald's told Mashable that the toys say: "para la bukay," "hahaha" and "eh eh," adding, "The allegation that this toy is saying anything offensive or profane is not true."

2. Limited Edition Minions Tic Tacs: Keep your breath minty fresh. After all, they pretty much resemble the Minions in shape and size.
