'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life': Luke and Lorelai Will Face 'Curves and Twists'
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is just around the corner, but the journey is only going to gain more twists and turns once we get there.
Scott Patterson promised as much while talking about playing Luke in the Netflix revival series during a recent Variety interview. According to the actor, we can expect "treacherous sledding in these four episodes for old Luke-y." (Apparently, we're calling him that now.)
*If you don't want any spoilers, turn away now.*
Patterson confirmed that Luke and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) are together in "A Year in a Life," but even though he called the diner owner "that rock for her," their relationship isn't conflict-free. In fact, it sounds like we should be preparing ourselves right now to see a lot of big issues pop up in the episodes to come.
"There are many curves and twists in the road, and rocks falling from above, and no guardrails, and thousand-foot drops," Patterson told Variety.
The road to happily ever after (or wherever it leads) definitely doesn't sound smooth. Still, it's exciting that we'll get to see Luke and Lorelai "figuring out their next steps in life together," as he put it. After waiting so long, we'll take what we can get and try not to be too picky.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" (finally!) hits Netflix on Nov. 25.
