'Girl Meets World' Is Canceled: Read Rowan Blanchard's Letter to Fans
Girl meetings ending. The writers for the Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World" have confirmed that the series has been canceled after three seasons, and lead actress Rowan Blanchard, 15, posted a heartfelt letter on Twitter in response to the news.
"Girl Meets World" ending is not a shock, since Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) recently mentioned on his podcast that "the show ended." But the writers responded to that at the time by joking on Twitter, "As much as I love Shawn Hunter, having created his character and everything, you have to remember that he was wrong a lot. There is no official word as yet. Disney decision on season 4 coming soon. Officially, season 3 ends with 3 wonderful episodes in January."
That was then. This is now:

C'est tout for the spinoff of the '90s sitcom "Boy Meets World," which brought back Ben Savage as Cory, and Danielle Fishel as Topanga Matthews, but focused on their daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard).
The gifted teen star took to Twitter to post a beautiful, bittersweet note on the show's end:

Her co-star Sabrina Carpenter (Maya) also reacted on Twitter:
There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life. - Fellini #GirlMeetsWorldpic.twitter.com/TWGAMgEQhS

According to Entertainment Weekly, the final episodes of "Girl Meets World" air Friday, and Jan. 13 and Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel.
