'Grey's Anatomy' 300th Episode Is a 'Love Letter' to Longtime Fans: See the First Photos
"Grey's Anatomy" is going big on "nostalgia" in its 300th episode, with "ghosts of our past" bringing 14 seasons of feels.
Season 14, Epiosde 7 is the milestone ep, titled "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story," airing Thursday, Nov. 9.
Here's ABC's synopsis:
"Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" – After a roller coaster car falls off the track at the county fair, the doctors at Grey Sloan tend to patients who spark memories about ghosts from their past, on a special 300th episode of "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, NOV. 9 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST).
Co-showrunner Krista Vernoff told TVLine she wrote the 300th episode "as a love letter to the fans who have been watching all 14 years." She added, "If there is a feel to the episode, it is nostalgia. And if there is a theme of the episode, it is the ghosts of our past. So I have found a way, to pay some small tribute to everyone who has been here before."
Everyone? We should probably expect a lot of name-dropping of favorites -- including probably Derek and Cristina, who have already been featured-from-afar this season. But will any of those "ghosts" show up in person? We'll have to wait and see.
By the way, the county fair bit of the synopsis may explain the previous 300th episode tease about a "frightening, possibly dangerous clown."
Anyway, here are some of the Episode 7 photos released by ABC, including some intriguing Mer-Alex moments:
A smiling Amelia!
Before we get to this episode, we first have the "Danger Zone" episode this Thursday, Oct. 26. Then "Grey's" is sending the boys on a boat trip in "Come on Down to My Boat, Baby," airing Thursday, Nov. 2.
