'Grey's Anatomy': Maggie & Jackson 'Enjoying Spending Time Together' (Sorry, Japril?)
Apparently "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 is not done with Jaggie after all. (And considering this new update about Sarah Drew, we may have to give up all hope for Japril.)
As of this moment, Maggie Pierce is still dating that Tinder dude, Clive; this Thursday's March 8 episode is meant to introduce him to Meredith and Amelia for a game night. We thought that meant Maggie would stick with him and be happy, and Jackson Avery would either return to April "The Party" Kepner, date someone else, or just go solo for a while.
But maybe not?
Last week's episode showed Jackson worrying about Harriet's party girl mother, and punishing the interns for talking about her. That seemed to suggest possibly good things for Japril, at least on his end of concern, but maybe it just push him closer to Maggie.
First of all, the Episode 14 promo shows that a patient and April herself seem to think Jackson and Maggie are an item:Also, two weeks from now, in the March 22 episode, "Caught Somewhere in Time," the first line of the synopsis reads, "Maggie and Jackson are enjoying spending time together, but he must turn his concentration toward the groundbreaking vaginoplasty surgery he has scheduled with Catherine and Richard."
So it sounds like Jaggie will get closer in the next few episodes. Bad news for Clive?
Here are ABC's synopses for the next three episodes:
Episode 14: 03/08, "Games People Play"
"Maggie's relationship with Clive starts to progress, and she invites him over for a game night to meet Meredith and Amelia. Meredith and Jo meet with the owner of the patent to the polymer they need for their project, who coincidentally is a friend of the family."
Episode 15: 03/15, "Old Scars, Future Hearts"
"Meredith tries to learn more about Marie Cerone's history with her mother. Meanwhile, Jo is applying for fellowships around the country and it throws Alex for a loop; and Tom Koracick helps April acknowledge her crisis of faith."
Episode 16: 03/22, "Caught Somewhere in Time"
"Maggie and Jackson are enjoying spending time together, but he must turn his concentration toward the groundbreaking vaginoplasty surgery he has scheduled with Catherine and Richard. Meanwhile, Meredith and Jo hit a roadblock with their contest submission, so Jo helps Bailey with an incoming trauma patient who used to be an astronaut."
Episode 15 was directed by Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey), so it should be the one that includes flashbacks to Alex Karev's past, among others. The Jackson and Maggie photos included in this post are actually from that Episode 15. Chandra Wilson (Miranda Baily) directed Episode 14, and that's up next this Thursday, March 8 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
