'Grey's Anatomy' Taps Marika Dominczyk for Season 13 Guest Role
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is focusing on the show's remaining original stars, but there's still room for new characters.
"Brothers & Sisters" alum Marika Dominczk is headed to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for a guest role on the hit medical drama, reports Variety. Her character is named Eliza Minnick, but unfortunately, that's all we know at this point. It hasn't been revealed when her character will first appear, for how long she'll stick around, or -- most importantly -- how she's connected to the "Grey's Anatomy" gang.
Speculation has already begun that Eliza could be a new love interest for Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). Given that show creator Shonda Rhimes teased new romance for the doctor, it certainly seems like a possibility. However, Eliza isn't the only potential option; Arizona's former love interest Leah (Tessa Ferrer) is set to return, so she could be the lovely lady in question.
Whether it's Eliza, Leah, neither, or both trying to woo Arizona, there's definitely going to be enough drama coming in the weeks ahead for everyone to play a part in it.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
