Hacker Releases New Season Of 'Orange is the New Black,' Threatens To Hack More Shows
A hacker who tried to hold Netflix hostage over the new season of "Orange is the New Black" has apparently made good on this threat and uploaded most of Season 5.
On Saturday, the hacker, who calls himself "thedarkoverlord," announced via Twitter that he had leaked new episodes of the hit Netflix series, which isn't set to premiere until June 9.
The hacker is also threatening to leak other pirated content from Netflix and other TV networks, including ABC, National Geographic, Fox, and IFC.
Who is next on the list? FOX, IFC, NAT GEO, and ABC. Oh, what fun we're all going to have. We're not playing any games anymore.

"You're going to lose a lot more money in all of this than what our modest offer was," the hacker tweeted. He also threatened,"There's still time to save yourselves. Our offer(s) are still on the table — for now."
Netflix released a statement saying, "We are aware of the situation. A production vendor used by several major TV studios had its security compromised and the appropriate law enforcement authorities are involved."
USA Today reports that ABC, Fox, and IFC declined to comment on the threats on Sunday and National Geographic and FBI didn't respond
So far, no threats to target USA, the home of TV's most famous hacker, "Mr. Robot."
Some fans have been tweeting that they had downloaded Season 5 of "OITNB," calling the hacker "You Are Our Saviour. Enjoying the show!" (Tweeting that you're enjoying pirated content. Not smart.)
Variety speculates that Netflix might move up the premiere date due to the hack.
"Thedarkoverlord released a series of grandiose tweets before announcing the hacking.
We've elected ourselves to participate in the grand creation of history itself. Marvelous, isn't it?
