Saddle Up! HBO's Badass, Star-Studded 'Westworld' Trailer Is Here
"These violent delights have violent ends." Evan Rachel Wood goes deep with that rather ominous prediction in HBO's intriguing new "Westworld" teaser trailer.
The one-hour drama, premiering this fall, combines the Western and futuristic sci-fi genres with an amazing all-star cast (Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, etc.) and the pedigrees of Michael Crichton, J.J. Abrams, and Jonathan Nolan. It has been described (via Variety) as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."
You may recall hearing how production was temporarily shut down on this highly anticipated new drama*, so Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy could catch up on the final scripts.
*(HBO desperately needs something new to hook fans, since "Game of Thrones" is on the way out. Will this do the trick?)
