It's Official: 'Toy Story 4' Has a Release Date
We have an official release date for "Toy Story 4."
Co-director Josh Cooley tweeted the news today: The fourth film will be out June 21, 2019. That date has been announced before, but now it seems like it's (more of) a sure thing.

The fourth installment in the hit Pixar series was originally announced for 2017, then moved to 2018, and finally, 2019.
Pixar boss John Lasseter was going to co-direct, but he stepped down in July 2017 after sexual harassment reports.
Rashida Jones, who was writing the script of "Tory Story 4" with Will McCormack, dropped out of the project in November 2017. Jones said she was leaving over "philosophical differences" and that Pixar was "a culture where women and people of color do not have an equal voice."
Cooley and "Coco" co-director Jonas Rivera will now share directing duties. Stephany Folsom ("Thor: Ragnarok") is writing the screenplay.
Let's hope it all comes together this time.
