'iZombie' Renewed for 5th Season at CW, 'Life Sentence' Terminated
Huzzah. Amidst all the cancellations of your favorite shows, there's one that'll be coming back from near death: "iZombie."
It joins 11 other CW series that were also renewed for another season: the undying "Supernatural," "Riverdale", "Jane The Virgin," "Black Lightning," "The Flash," "Supergirl," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "Arrow," "The 100," "Dynasty," and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."
Rob Thomas ("Veronica Mars") created "iZombie," which stars Pushing Daisies" and "Tru Calling.")
The network describes it as, natch, a "rom-com-zom-dram."
CW shows getting the ax include: "Life Sentence" (starring "Pretty Little Liars" alum Valor."
This fall, look for reboots of "Charmed" and Roswell" as well as a spinoff of "The Originals," called "Legacies."
