Jennifer Lawrence gives "Joy" to the world in the comedy-drama inspired by entrepreneur Joy Mangano's real-life success story.

The Oscar winner, who nabbed her first statue starring opposite Bradley Cooper in 2012's "Silver Linings Playbook" and scored another nod alongside him in 2013's "American Hustle," both directed by David O. Russell, re-teams with the actor and director for a third time in the comedy-drama that loosely shares the tale of the self-wringing Miracle Mop inventor.

Cooper portrays the Home Shopping Network executive who gives struggling mother of three Mangano's product the green light, which lead to her massive success as a home products entrepreneur who later launched Huggable Hangers, Forever Fragrant, among other bestsellers.

Also directed and written by Russell and co-starring Robert De Niro as Mangano's father and Édgar Ramírez as her husband, "Joy" arrives in theaters on Christmas Day.
