Netflix Reveals 'Lucifer' Season 4 Premiere Date, Steamy Teaser
Salvation is almost here for "Lucifer" fans.
The comedy-drama's new home, Netflix, has finally revealed the show's premiere date and a new teaser. The streamer's date with the Devil is set for May 8, and it looks like the show may be hotter than ever. The teaser is steamy in multiple sense of the word -- it shows star Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer Morningstar, emerging shirtless from a hot tub. The video then teases, "He is risen." Watch below.
Season 4 won't be all hot tub time for Lucifer. The video description offers a look at some of what we can expect to see:
Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?
The upcoming season was hardly a given. Fox canceled the show in May, but fortunately for fans, Netflix revived "Lucifer" the following month. Considering its brush with death, it may be all the more cherished when the new episodes arrive.
"Lucifer" Season 4 hits Netflix on May 8.
