Meghan Markle's 'Suits' Costars Had the Best Reactions to Her Engagement to Prince Harry
Meghan Markle is set to join Britain's royal family next year, and her TV family couldn't be happier for the actress.
Several of Markle's "Suits" costars took to Twitter on Monday to wish her well after news broke of her engagement to boyfriend Prince Harry. And they couldn't resist referencing their small screen relationships to the future princess -- who plays attorney Rachel Zane on the show -- in their responses, which ranged from hilarious to heartfelt.
Patrick J. Adams, who acts across Markle on the USA drama as Rachel's fiance, Mike Ross, got the ball rolling with a tongue in cheek reaction.

Tweeting out a link to the official Kensington Palace announcement, Adams quipped, "She said she was just going out to get some milk..." He later added a more detailed, personal comment, directing remarks to both the prince and his costar.
Playing Meghan's television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.

Wendell Pierce, who plays Rachel's father, Robert Zane, took a more paternal tone with his response, sending out his "Congratulations to my TV daughter Meghan Markle and Prince Harry" on Twitter.

Markle and Adams are rumored to be leaving "Suits" at the end of this season, which will reportedly conclude with their characters' wedding. There's no word yet on whether or not the show will be renewed for an eighth season, though if it is, Markle will probably be too busy with wedding planning to make any guest appearances.
Markle and Prince Harry are slated to tie the knot sometime during the spring of 2018. "Suits" is currently airing its seventh season on USA.
