New mom Mindy Kaling has been uncharacteristically quiet online since the birth of her first child earlier this month. But Kaling was inspired by her little bundle of joy to share an insanely sweet holiday message with her followers over the weekend, revealing just how much her daughter's arrival has meant to her.

The writer-actress-producer, who reportedly gave birth on December 15 to baby girl Katherine Swati Kaling, had posted only two Instagram photos since that time, an unusually light output for the avid social media user. Neither post mentioned her daughter directly (one alluded to a rather "busy week" she was having, which is putting things pretty mildly for a new parent).

That changed on Christmas Day, though, with Kaling The Flintstones," featuring mom Wilma feeding baby Pebbles.

This was the first time that Kaling publicly confirmed she'd given birth (indirectly, anyway), and it's probably the cutest way she could have done so. The comedienne had previously said that she couldn't wait to become a mom, and it looks like things are off to a great start for her and Katherine. We couldn't be happier for the new Kaling family.
