Former 'Mythbusters' Trio Reuniting for Netflix's 'White Rabbit Project'
There's a light at the end of the tunnel for "Mythbusters" fans still mourning the end of the long-running science show.
Netflix announced a new series starring former "Mythbusters" stars Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara. The trio did not appear in the final season of the Discovery Channel show, which only brought back hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. But now, they are reuniting for the "White Rabbit Project," which will start streaming December 9.
The show sounds a lot like "Mythbusters," with the trio going "down the rabbit hole to investigate weird and wonderful events from pop culture, science and history ... In each episode the hosts immerse themselves in experiments, builds and tests as they sleuth the truth behind these and other well Googled themes."
A clip was shown at DragonCon last weekend, and one Nerdist reader described it as "Tory and Kari sitting down for some wine, except Tory is strapped up to a bunch of wires and Kari is attempting to control his arm movements remotely. You can imagine how well it turned out."
