DEA Goes to War Against Pablo Escobar in Netflix's 'Narcos' Trailer
"if there's one thing I've learned in the narco world, it's that life is more complicated than you think."
So says DEA agent Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook, "Gone Girl") in the new trailer for Netflix's upcoming '80s drug crime drama "Narcos." He and his partner, Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal, "Game of Thrones"), learn just how complicated it can be as they go from busting hippies in flip-flops to pursuing some of the most dangerous drug lords in the world — including the infamous Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura).

The trailer presents a lot of action and a lot of tense politicking. There's money. There's spying. There's violence. There's a lot of bad '80s fashion. It looks terrific, and the gritty drama should be a nice complement to Netflix's slate of originals.
All 10 episodes of "Narcos" will be available to stream on August 28.
