The Golden Globes is staying right at home, on NBC.

The network signed a new 8-year deal with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to continue broadcasting the Golden Globes, starting with the 2019 ceremony. NBC has been the home of the Golden Globes broadcast since 1996.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, negotiations between the two parties took longer than expected and the HFPA announced its awards calendar this summer without a deal in place.

Despite a decline in ratings, the Golden Globes ceremony continues to be a big draw, since it combines both film and television awards. Not only do fans get to see their favorite movie and TV stars mingle, but the vibe is looser than the Oscars (partially due to the flowing alcohol).

The Golden Globes has also seen some of the most memorable awards shows moments in recent years, thanks to witty hosts including Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and Ricky Gervais.

Nominations for the 76th Annual Golden Globes will be announced December 6, with the ceremony to air on January 6.
