Every Halloween, you can count on seeing plenty of pumpkins, colossal amounts of candy, and a reliably awesome group costume from Neil Patrick Harris and his family. And as expected, 2017 did not disappoint on that latter item.

In a post on Instagram, Harris shared a snap of his family's incredibly detailed get-ups, which had a creepy carnival sideshow theme. Set against a circus tent backdrop, Harris posed as a demon-eyed carnival barker, holding a megaphone and gesturing at the three other members of his clan.

Harris's husband, David Burtka, donned a terrifying clown costume that could give Pennywise a run for his money. The couple's twins, Gideon and Harper, went for a slightly cuter aesthetic, with Gideon posing as a mustachioed strong man, and Harper mugging for the camera as an elegant bearded lady.

This is just the latest elaborate group costume from the Burtka-Harris family, with the foursome becoming legendary over the years for their Halloween creativity. Previously, they've gone as characters from "Alice in Wonderland," "Peter Pan," "The Wizard of Oz," and "Batman."

In 2015, the Force was with the family as they donned amazing "Star Wars" outfits, and in 2016, they glammed it up as iconic Old Hollywood stars.

Aside from all the candy, the foursome might be our favorite part of Halloween. We can't wait to see what they cook up in 2018.
