Congrats to Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder! They couple, who announced they were expecting in May, welcomed a baby girl on July 25, E! Online reports.

The baby's name: Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder. "Bodhi" is a Buddhist term for "awakening" (and so probably not a nod to Patrick Swayze's philosophical bank robber in "Point Break").

Back in May, the "Vampire Diaries" star shared his feelings about being a dad on Instagram: "To our friends, family, and rest of the world. In my 38 years on this earth I've never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this. I can't think of anything more exciting than this next chapter."

The duo tied the knot in April 2015.
