'Once Upon a Time' Season 7 Adds Five New Stars to Cast
It's out with the old and in with the new for ABC's "Once Upon a Time" Season 7.
Deadline announced the arrival of two new series regulars and three recurring stars for the 2017-2018 season:
SERIES REGULARS
Dania Ramirez ("Devious Maids")
Gabrielle Anwar ("Burn Notice")
RECURRING
Adelaide Kane ("Reign")
Mekia Cox ("Chicago Med")
Rose Reynolds ("Poldark")
Who run the fairy tale world? Girls! There are no details yet on who they will be playing, but TVLine said that will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con later this month. Here's an early guess that Dania Ramirez (pictured at top) plays older Henry's wife/young Lucy's mother. Maybe she's Moana, maybe Lucy is young Moana, maybe no one is Moana. Either way, that's our guess.
As you know, former "Once" stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Jared S. Gilmore, and Rebecca Mader left at the end of Season 6 (although Morrison is contracted to return for one episode, whenever that may be). Season 7 is meant to still include Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and Colin O'Donoghue, along with grown-up Henry (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez).
"Once" Season 7 is now filming, with the cast celebrating together before starting the new journey:
"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 will air on Fridays this fall at 8 p.m. The exact premiere date will probably be revealed at Comic-Con, too.
